We would just like to thank One Property Maintenance & Landscaping once again. We also wanted to let you know that you have been the only company who have actually done exactly what they said they would. Your team turned up on time where always friendly and professional and never let us down.

We felt totally secure in the knowledge that you always made yourself available to take our calls if we had questions. When we had a small leak in the stream, you came back after you were paid, day after day until you found the small pin hole leak, which to me and my husband, speaks volumes. We have been let down by other companies once they had their money.

We are sending you this extra thank you after Jim and I were talking about the last company we employed to lay kitchen flooring. We have had nothing but excuses, promises to come back and no body showed. This went on for weeks on end. All for a couple of small things that were wrong and needed their attention.

After talking about this company and other companies or single people who have worked on our home, (we’ve had quite a lot done so many different trades) we came to the realisation that the only company that actually did everything we asked was One Property Maintenance & Landscaping. We had no problems whatsoever and the service and quality of work was excellent.

This is why I thought I would thank you again for the work you completed for us.

They have a lovely home and have had lots of different companies in the past work on their property. The reason they got back into contact was to say thank you for the service and quality of work we provided.

After receiving their email I thought I would call them and find a little more information about what problems they were experiencing.

After having work completed on their home which One Property Maintenance & Landscaping did not cover. This was laying Vinal Flooring & Carpets. After the first call to the company to tell them about the problems that they had noticed and the company says no problem, we will come back and sort the problem.

Then it happens, what I have heard many times before….!

Many phone calls, many emails, many text messages. The company still never answered, don’t acknowledge their calls. They never called them back, did not even want to come back and sort the problems out at all. This is after weeks of problems not being resolved after they promised on the first phone call.

This I hear many times, businesses not turning up to quote when customers are expecting them. Not turning up to do jobs after booked in with no explanation. Not quoting the right price and asking for more money after they start the job. Not being professional from start to finish. The list goes on and on and causes massive problems in the industry.

This all happens for many reasons, but mostly because people are looking for the cheapest price possible or pick a company that is not reputable.

The people hired or business may be chancers, or who have worked for a company and now set up a facebook page set up for their new business and think they can do a good job. It is not so easy to plan every thing and you could be excellent at your job, but be terrible at business and this does not benefit either party.

There is a lot of planning that goes into running a business and if you own a business you will know this. It is not just a matter of turning up for work and at 4-5pm you get to go home.

If you are looking to have quality workmanship and you want it on time and to the standards expected from a quality business. Then you are going to have to employ a proven company to do the work or things will not go to plan.

How to Tell If A Business Is Reputable

You know the business is reputable if they have many of the things mentioned below. If They Have Been in Business For Many years There Is A Good Reason. Do They Have A Website Its 2019 Every Business should have One, Sign Written Vans, Plenty of Good Reviews, Lots of Good Before & After Images, Logo Letter Heading, Logo Uniforms, Turns Up On Time To Quote, Keeps In Touch Through Quoting Process, Provides extra Services like Plans & Planning Etc.

This is because the company is proud of their business and want to show the world what they are worth. They are not going to disappear overnight and will be there when you need them.

If they turn up and have no website in this day and age, don’t invest in the company image, don’t have good or excellent reviews, don’t have uniforms and they quote you on the spot. Now for a small job, this may be ok, but if it is a large landscaping job or construction work and is going to cost thousands of pounds. It is impossible to quote there and then for those large jobs that take multiple days or weeks. If they don’t have a lot of the items mentioned above, it’s because they are also not taking their business seriously. Then don’t be surprised if their service and quality of workmanship are shabby also.

Remember that nothing in life which is cheap is ever quality.

If you keep looking for cheap pricing and constantly have problems with the quality of service and work. Then there is the old saying you will end up paying the more expensive quote to repair the cheaper quote.
